We Come to You
BJC Mechanical and AC is a fully mobile workshop. We service and repair trucks, trailers, machinery and cars where they already are, whether that is your yard, a job site or the side of the road. Mechanical, auto electrical and air-conditioning all handled by the one team, so you are not booking three trades and losing three days. You get a written quote before any work starts, and we tell you upfront if a callout or diagnostic fee applies.

Modern trucks and machinery are full of sensors, control modules and wiring that will happily point you at the wrong fault. We use proper diagnostic equipment to find what is actually wrong before anything gets replaced, so you are not paying for parts that were never the problem. Once we know the fault, you get a written quote and we get on with it.

Do you come to me, or do I need to drop the vehicle off?
We come to you. Servicing, repairs, auto electrical and air-con work are all carried out at your yard, job site or wherever the vehicle has stopped. The only jobs that need to go elsewhere are COI and roadworthy inspections, which we do not do.
What areas do you cover?
We service the Sunshine Coast and surrounds, from Caboolture through to Gympie and inland to Kenilworth. If you are just outside that, call us anyway and we will tell you straight away whether we can get to you.
What do you work on?
Trucks, trailers, heavy machinery, plant equipment and cars. Mechanical servicing and repairs, auto electrical fault finding and automotive air-conditioning, all in house.
Do you charge for callouts or quotes?
Callouts carry a fee, and test and diagnostic work may also be charged. Quotes for general servicing and repair work can be arranged, though a site visit to quote may incur a travel fee. We tell you what applies before we come out, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm. Weekends by appointment. We also run 24/7 response for truck and trailer breakdowns, with callout fees applying outside normal hours.
My truck has broken down. How fast can you get here?
Call 0401 307 339 and we will give you a realistic time on the spot rather than a guess. Response depends on where you are and what is already booked, but breakdowns are prioritised over scheduled work.
Can you regas and repair air-conditioning in trucks and machinery?
Yes. We are ARC authorised, licence AU58990, which covers us to handle refrigerant legally. We diagnose the fault first rather than just topping up a system that is leaking.
Do you service farm and earthmoving equipment?
Yes. Excavators, tractors, loaders and similar plant, serviced and repaired onsite so you avoid float and transport costs on a machine that is not roadworthy in the first place.
